I have played in the last two years of your golf tournaments. 2023 was a completely different experience… it was awesome! The 2024 tournament lacked almost everything that was advertised. There was no Whiskey sampling! I could argue that having two kegs and a beer cart during a tournament would not be considered a “Complimentary Beer Sampling”. “Swag Bag” is considered to be more than just a complimentary cigar that came with the purchase of mulligans. So, in turn, it is not complimentary. “Elevated Hot Dog” bar was boiled hot dogs (disgusting), and normal condiments. Shotgun start at 9am which turned in to a 8:30 start as per an email the day before which was odd. Overall the tournament is for a great cause and I truly enjoy supporting that cause. This tournament did not even come close to a $120 tournament. I’ve run golf tournaments for 13 years now, I would be embarrassed if I had my name associated with your 2024 tournament. I would’ve been honored to be associated with the 2023 tournament.
Without honest feedback, we can not improve on were we fell short in life or activities. I know this is a harsh critique of your tournament, but I want you to improve and succeed. I overheard several players complaining and all said they would never play again. Which is unfortunate, but completely understandable if you only had this years experience to judge the product. The tournament the I run is for Wounded Veterans and their families, I would encourage your representatives to attend and participate. I play in approximately 15 tournaments a year, ranging in quality and price. I unfortunately have to say that yours was not the most expensive, but lacked almost everything that was advertised. Please accept this critique as constructive criticism and not a shot at anyone. I know tournament's are tough to organize and run. But please do better so you guys and gals can keep this going for a long time! God Bless our Military!
